It's All Over now!
Finally home and back to reality.
What an experience I had over the past few weeks. From a Fire Competition in Dubai, to family time in London - England, to travelling some parts of Europe and even catching up with an Old Ohio State team mate Emma Laaksonen (5 time Olympic Hockey Player, Team Finland).
This was the first time since 1999, that I hadn't truly trained multiple times per week. I found this extremely hard to deal with throughout my journey, but stuck to my word and DID NOT WORKOUT!
After coming home to Newmarket, and jumping onto my scale, I quickly went into a mini depression! Finding out I had gained over 12 lbs (and we're obviously NOT talking muscle!). My body has change drastically in its composition and mentally this is a challenge to deal with. I feel like I'm "That much Closer" to some of my clients now! I can relate to their feelings and mood changes of being tired/lazy, to finding it hard to gear up for healthy food and hard workouts. I'm going through all of this RIGHT NOW.
So I've figured in fairness to my readers, I'm going to keep a weekly Blog from Day 1 to Day 60!
I'll continue to post my thoughts, pictures and progress through the next couple of months to maybe motivate you/ relate to your experiences as well.
I would love to hear others feedback and your experiences related to mine (email me: firstname.lastname@example.org, title: Fit by Fire Day 60)
Here is the most recent article from my Dubai competition for you to start with!!! :
The event assists me to train and compete through the 2014 summers races, thanks to the generous donations from Dubai sponsor.
Stay Tuned for Week 1 Progress...
