Have you ever heard "It's the Little Things that make the difference"?
After playing various sports and working numerous jobs, I'm constantly reminded weekly if not daily, that IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS that matter.
In life we take a lot of things for granted. Life gets busy, we rely on family, friends and coworkers to be there for support and get jobs/tasks done. We rarely reflect on the little things and sometimes just think they'll be done again and again without going noticed.
Without getting to deep into life this morning, I want to focus on "The LITTLE Things" within your workouts and nutrition!
I work with a number of athletes and individuals who are trying to achieve their daily, weekly and monthly goals in the gym but tend to forget about the ACCESSORY work that needs to be done.
We can lift heavy, train hard and "eat properly", however if we forget or neglect our accessory exercises... then maybe we don't reach our goals? or maybe we are set back with injuries? or maybe we sneak by just this week but plateau in a month.
Our nutrition needs to calculated or counted for if our goals are to achieve results. We can't sneak something Small, and think it won't catch up to us. Fast foods, sugars, alcohol, processed junk, etc Will ALL Get Us ONE DAY!
More to come tomorrow on this topic... Check back here if you want to make changes within your Workouts/Nutrition!
