After 44 days of being back onto my Nutrition and Workout routine, I find myself starting the 2014 Firefit circuit. I may not be where I wanted or maybe I am further ahead then planned? I won't know until post race tomorrow!
I have limited myself from Tower/Fire Race training. I am starting this season off extremely different as I have past years. I have found it challenging to not want to progress faster then my plan.
Tomorrow I would love a PB but it most likely won't happen. I have changed my thought process to: get this race out of the way, learn from it and move on. Next weekend is another practice race, and then Toronto at the end of July. These 3 races should help me feel confident for Nationals at the end of the summer.
Can I stay on pace for a Sub 2 Performance this season? or will I get too anxious and veer away from "The Plan"?
